The Department Life Technologies Solutions Software Engineering is an agile team working within an entrepreneurial business. The Role We are looking for an energetic Software Engineer Intern with a desire to grow their knowledge and experience as part of our dynamic Integrate team. A strong candidate will have deep analytical skills and view ambiguity as an opportunity. You must be comfortable working in an environment where you do not have all the answers and be willing to collaborate with others to achieve success. A desire to learn development best practices, such as pair programming, test-driven development, and shared code ownership will be key. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects ranging from cloud-computing systems and web APIs to desktop user interfaces, and actuarial calculation systems. Come grow with us! Time Commitment: This internship is a full-time seasonal position that requires significant time commitment and is not typically completed at the same time as college coursework. Our interns are available to work during standard business hours (8:30a - 5p, Monday - Friday) and work extended full-time hours (at least 37.5+ hours per week). Location Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Chicago, IL on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered.
