Position Description

  • Support senior analysts and supervision the development of analyses, preparation of financial and other reports, development and maintenance of intermediate-level computer models/codes, and preparation and rendering of bills and administration of contracts. Must be able to explain complex information to others in a professional manner. Assignments are usually performed with a moderate level of guidance. Ideas are supported by gathering information, analyzing options, and proposing well thought out plans. Must possess a broader view of the company, its processes, and customers, and be able to solve a range of problems. Generally, the work performed by this position can only be accomplished in an efficient and timely manner through the effective use of information systems. Provide informal guidance to Financial Analyst I positions as needed.


  • Essential Job Tasks:
  • Prepares and renders all wholesale, industrial and other monthly bills, statements and reports.
  • Prepares the monthly fuel adjustment, demand sales adjustment, and economic development adjustment calculations.
  • Prepares Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion Water Agencies monthly bills, statements and reports, including the annual Cost of Service True-ups.
  • Proficiently understands the development and content of standard financial statements, basic principles involved in the interpretation and administration of business contracts.
  • Works with Technology Services to maintain all computer models used in billing, planning, and reporting, including the Industrial, Central and PSA Billing applications, as well as the Loss and Fuel Adjustment Programs and the Economy Power Purchasing System.
  • Analyzes new customer contracts and helps develop billing methods for these new customers.
  • Prepares monthly fuel comparison reports, updates the Official Statement and prepares and renders the SEPA fiscal year true-up, along with other reporting tasks.
  • Performs special tasks and assignments as requested.

  • Financial Analyst II
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field + 2 years experience.
  • Must have ability to apply moderate to advanced financial, economic, accounting, mathematical and statistical principles and thorough knowledge of personal computers and/or programming.


  • Compensation Information:
    $66,390 - $82,980 (min. - mid.)

    Financial Analyst III
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field + 5 years experience.
  • Must have ability to apply moderate to advanced financial, economic, accounting, mathematical and statistical principles and thorough knowledge of personal computers and/or programming.


  • Compensation Information:
    $82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)
