Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to join a team that values precision and quality? We're hiring Assemblers to support the production of electronic and mechanical cable assemblies on 1st shift in Cedar Rapids, IA. If you have strong attention to detail, can read technical drawings, and enjoy working with your hands, this could be the perfect fit for you! Assembly Responsibilities: - Assemble cable components by following written instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams - Use manual and semi-automatic crimping tools to terminate wires and cables - Operate hand and power tools throughout the assembly process - Meet quality and productivity standards while maintaining a clean, organized workspace - Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment Requirements for Assembly: - Strong communication skills - Able to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, and measurements (down to 1/8 of an inch) - Great manual dexterity and attention to detail - Able to lift up to 30lbs as needed - Previous manufacturing or assembly experience cedarrapids@qpsemployment.com IND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
