We are hiring a Technical Services Operations Center Administrator to join our team in Longmont, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshooting the entire IT stack (data center, network, storage, servers, and applications/services) and communicating issues and the overall status to all relevant personnel.
  • Perform a variety of tasks including system and application monitoring, ticketing and incident resolution.
  • Work directly with various technical support teams to monitor, escalate events, and manage incidents and alarm thresholds.

Minimum requirements for this position:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/activeSecret security clearance
  • Must have an active Security+ certification or be able to obtain one in the first 6 months of employment.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a CI Polygraph that is required to administratively access specific systems.
  • Associate'sdegree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Two years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to accommodate a weekly day or night shift that includes one weekend day per week. Shift includes working only three-to-four 12-hour shifts per week.
  • SHIFT DETAIL: Night Shift 6pm -6am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday night.

These skills would be amazing:

  • Advanced understanding of networking, firewalls, routing, remote site connectivity, and applicable troubleshooting practices
  • Experience with RedHat, LDAP, Satellite, Puppet, DNS
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with VMWare and Virtual Servers
  • Knowledge of data / IP networking and protocols (OSPF, BGP, GRE, TCP, FTP, FCIP, NFS)
  • Work experience with Python
  • Work experience with AWS
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong business acumen, client-service, and results orientation
  • Ability to think both strategically while also executing tactically
  • Positive history of building positive relationships, both internally and externally.

* The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $71,000.00 - $119,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
