We drive impact on Gartner's Mission Critical Priorities by leveraging state of the art technology, analytics, and processes.

The Associate Director will be responsible for providing consultative partnership, and analytics problem-solving to the Client Services, GSSO and Finance leaders. This person will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&A, HR, IT and other Business Units.

What you will do:

Consultative Partnership

  • Provides consultative partnership to Services, GSSO and Finance business leaders, including proactive identification & solutioning of critical business problems.

  • Engages and influences Gartner leaders: Partner directly with leaders (MVP/VP level) on people analytics findings; provide data points to help solve business problems and influence business decisions

Analytical Problem-Solving

  • Creatively solves complex business problems: Provides reporting analytics to understand business trends (how business is performing, decline in productivity, etc.); provides this data to business partners

  • Uses insights from quantitative and qualitative data to tell a story and influence outcomes across a wide range of executive-level stakeholders

  • Delivers critical analytical products to stakeholders including the Talent Supply Chain model and One Gartner.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Influences HR products and analytics roadmaps across the organization, ensuring Services, GSSO and Finance priorities are driving People Analytics priorities

  • Fosters strong cross-functional collaboration with other depts. such as Finance, and IT

  • Manages a team of Sr. Analysts to support the indicated business units

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred

  • 8+ years of professional experience in analytics, HR and/or consulting

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex/unstructured business problems.

  • Uses data and the economics of the business to analyze problems and recommend solutions (can translate insights into actionable solutions).

  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with senior leadership to drive decisions

  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate with global team members, anticipate and manage risks, set appropriate expectations and consistently deliver strong results

  • Proven track record of establishing trusted partner relationships, including collaborating with and influencing leaders and teams across multiple business functions

  • Proven ability to drive actions by creating compelling stories with data

  • Strong Python and SQL data analytics skills required.

  • Experience with Databricks and PowerBI or comparable tools preferred.

Impact of Role

  • This role will ensure analytical best practices and influence the interpretation of insights with a relentless focus on data accuracy, consistency, and scalability.

  • The Associate Director will influence the product and analytics HR roadmap to ensure Services, GSSO, and Finance's business needs are prioritized.

  • This person will drive business decisions supported with data insights and analytics.

Must be located within 60 minutes of Irving, TX or willing to relocate.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 106,000 USD - 145,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
