Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT department, focusing on supporting Sales teams, CRM systems (such as Salesforce), and sales-related processes. This role is essential in supporting annual tactical initiatives and projects that align with broader business and sales strategies. This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Muskego, WI.

As a Business Analyst, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing data, and assisting in the implementation and enhancement of tools and processes that drive sales performance. You will also support the Business Analyst Manager in maintaining and improving the Salesforce platform, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, IT, and other business units to translate business processes and needs into functional and technical requirements and specifications.
  • Contribute new workflows, process improvements, and ideas to enhance sales operations.
  • Identify risks that threaten project success and recommend workarounds.
  • Ensure systems run smoothly by testing and documenting improvements; coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and collect feedback.
  • Assist in managing the support queue for required system changes and enhancements.
  • Promote business adoption of system capabilities and features; work on projects related to improving the user experience.
  • Remain current with advancements in sales software technology and industry trends.
  • Support the execution of annual tactical initiatives and cross-functional projects, including requirements gathering, tracking deliverables, and communicating progress.
  • Help prioritize and manage IT enhancement requests related to sales tools and platforms.
  • Document user requirements, system specifications, process flows, and training materials.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Work with developers, system administrators, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Specifications



  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Capable of declarative development within sandboxes in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; high degree of solving complex problems.

  • Adhere to company policies.


Job Relationships



  • Reports to Business Analyst Manager.
  • Works and coordinates activities within IT and the appropriate business units.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Salesforce or 3 years of experience with other CRM platforms preferred.
  • Experience with systems analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, and declarative development.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and business analysis platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio) preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
