 ATI Forged Products - Cudahy Operations is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to support their Heat Treat Operations. This individual will join the engineering team responsible for building efficiencies in our heat treating equipment and work with cross functional teams to troubleshoot any issues arising within the cells. Summary: 
 
 
 Analyze and troubleshoot challenges and routine problems on all electrical / automation considerations and appropriately provide solutions and continuous improvement strategiesApply advanced engineering principles and strategies to improve operating efficiency of equipment and to design and implement automation systemsPartner with engineers, designers, draftsmen, electricians, mechanics, and other cross-functional teams on matters involving requirements or performance of tools, machinery, equipment, buildings or facilities to ensure strong outputs, reliability and efficienciesProvide technical expertise and leadership or participation on project teams in support of capital projects, process evaluation, project modifications and problem-solving activitiesPrepare and maintain process documentation, reports, correspondence and job-working records while ensuring accuracy, mathematical computations, and functional correctness of designsWork from layouts, instructions, specifications or any other requirements.Studies new projects and investigates any initiatives concerning recommendation of redesign, repair or rebuilding to overcome difficulties, correct improper function, or meet requirementsInitiate action regarding methods or procedures in developmental or experimental work. Responsible for completion of assignments. Attend and assist tryouts in shop regarding new methods of manufacture, jobs, or processes
 
 Requirements: Basic Qualifications 
 
 
 Associate's Degree in Engineering or related fieldAt least 2 years of electrical engineering experience in process control / automation
 
 Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications) 
 
 
 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 5 years of electrical engineering experience in process control / automation
