Overview
We are looking for a Category Merchandiser for a 2-month hybrid engagement in Beaverton, OR. We are seeking a dynamic and curious individual to join a vibrant merchandising team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping product narratives and assortments for a significant global product category, directly influencing how consumers experience and connect with cutting-edge products. Your contributions will directly impact seasonal strategies, bringing exciting product journeys to life and driving market success. As a key member of the merchandising team, you will support the strategic development, construction, and management of seasonal product assortments and their unique journeys within a major global product category. This role offers the opportunity to: Responsibillities
* Strategize, build, and manage seasonal assortments and product journeys for a significant global category.
* Execute detailed management, maintenance, and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments.
* Develop and nurture key relationships with cross-functional teammates to enable seamless execution.
* Contribute to creating channel assortments based on compelling seasonal narratives.
* Engage in research and analysis, demonstrating a genuine curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and evolution. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
* 2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, or Buying.
* Demonstrated understanding of consumer behavior and marketplace trends.
* Entrepreneurial spirit, with experience working on new projects, concepts, or ideas.
* Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, including delivering impactful presentations to various cross-functional partners.
* A strong team-first mentality and a positive, energizing presence.
* Flexibility and adaptability to change.
* A strong affinity for the specific product category.
