Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator supports the Payroll Manager in processing bi-weekly U.S. payroll and monthly international payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. The Payroll Coordinator will maintain payroll records, assist with 401(k) data entry and compliance, prepare reports, and manage employee inquiries through our ticketing system. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of payroll experience, including multi-state tax knowledge, and thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll Manager in processing bi-weekly payroll and monthly global payrolls
  • Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, benefits, and tax information.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management and auditing purposes (e.g., hours worked, deductions, etc.)
  • Assist in managing 401(k) data entry, employee contributions, and compliance tracking
  • Manage employee payroll inquiries through our ticketing system to resolve concerns regarding wages, taxes, deductions, and benefits
  • Help maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including multi-state tax matters
  • Verify and reconcile payroll discrepancies, resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Familiarity with payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance
  • Multi-state payroll tax experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience working with 401(k) or other employee benefits
  • Proficiency in payroll/HR software and spreadsheets

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive base salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. Hourlu ranges for U.S.-based positions are determined by geographic location and fall into one of three pay zones, which reflect the cost of labor in that area. The anticipated salary ranges for this position are outlined below and are subject to change:

  • $23/hr - $32/hr
