The Role
The Manager, Programs & Analytics is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's participation in partner-funded profitability programs, including rebates, incentives, MOUs and back-end margin opportunities. This role ensures accurate tracking, reporting, and realization of these programs, while also providing actionable analytics to support strategic decision-making. This position works closely with Sales, Finance, and Partner Management to maximize profitability across the organization.

Responsibilities include:


Profitability Program Management

  • Manage the company's participation in vendor rebate, incentive, and profitability programs.
  • Maintain mastery of all vendor profitability programs, producing clear summaries and detailed reporting that ensure stakeholders at all levels can easily understand program structures, requirements, and financial impacts.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, claim submission, and reconciliation of all vendor-funded programs.
  • Partner with partner managers to fully understand program eligibility and capture all available margin opportunities.
  • Communicate details of all new profitability programs to all internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor program compliance requirements to ensure full qualification and avoid missed opportunities.


Analytics & Insights

  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to track profitability by vendor, customer, product line, and program.
  • Analyze sales performance and deal structures to optimize profitability outcomes.
  • Provide executive leadership with insights into trends, risks, and opportunities related to vendor program performance.
  • Conduct margin analysis to guide sales enablement and pricing strategies.


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage resources responsible for profitability tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Vendor Management to ensure accurate program execution and reporting.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for vendor profitability programs within the organization.


Required Skills and Professional Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, vendor programs, or business operations, ideally within a VAR, reseller, or technology distribution environment.

  • Strong knowledge of vendor-funded profitability programs (rebates, incentives, MDF, back-end margins).



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain program performance and financial impact to executive audiences.



  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendor programs simultaneously.


  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Excel
