Technical Editor Mechanicsburg Child Welfare Training Programs - Pennsylvania-Mechanicsburg - (25005600) The University of Pittsburgh’s Child Welfare Resource Center is seeking a Technical Editor to join the Statewide Quality Improvement Department: The Technical Editor will: • Be responsible for supporting the Office of Children, Youth and Families (OCYF) in the development of statewide reports, regulations and associated documents/forms, and Federal reports. • Support the development of statewide reports, regulations, and Federal reports by drafting language and editing existing content for format, flow, grammar and cohesion. • Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. • Be responsible for identifying and communicating changes needed to existing training and other internal resources and supporting the completion of those changes across the program. Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Candidate must have strong knowledge of child welfare. Minimum of two years’ experience in child welfare and/or related human service field. Minimum of five years preferred. Excellent writing skills required. The candidate must also possess strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, collaboration skills, and facilitation skills. A valid driver’s license is required. Experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse populations preferred. A commitment to achieving equity and inclusion in the child welfare system is a must.
