Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans including profit strategies, forecasts, expense budgets, and capital planning
Provide strategic financial guidance to Regional Directors of Finance (RDOFs) and property leadership
Monitor financial performance and ensure accurate, timely reporting to executive leadership and ownership
Oversee capital planning processes and ensure ROI models are aligned with company standards
Compliance & Internal Controls
Ensure full compliance with accounting policies, legal requirements, contracts, and internal audit procedures
Identify and address operational and control risks across the portfolio
Lead responses to tax audits and regulatory inquiries when required
Operational Excellence
Implement standardized financial systems, tools, and reporting across assigned properties
Evaluate deviations from financial plans and recommend corrective action
Ensure receivables, cash flow, and revenue recognition are managed in accordance with Crescent standards
Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Regional Directors of Finance
Drive performance management, training, succession planning, and recruiting of finance leaders
Promote a continuous improvement culture focused on efficiency, profitability, and professional growth
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as a financial consultant to operational leaders on business decisions
Facilitate strong communication between properties, corporate leadership, and ownership groups
Promote synergy among hotels to maximize collective financial performance
Reporting & Deliverables
Daily: Income journals, revenue reports
Weekly: Cash balance reporting
Monthly: Financial statements, forecasts, cash flow reports, executive summaries
Semi-Annual: Property ICQ submissions
Annual: Budgets, capital planning, cash flow statements
