Apply now and energize your career with a true leader in the global energy transformation.A day in the life of an AES CE Analytics Engineer will include, but is not limited to: Maintaining existing code bases and building out new use cases as part of the Clean Energy Data Analytics and Reporting (CEDAR) platform Delivering reliable KPIs and portfolio-level performance metrics for managers and executives Collaborating with the CE Performance Engineering team to expand site-level analyses to entire portfolios of assets using advanced (scripting) analytics and dashboarding tools Building and maintaining data warehouses and automated reporting solutions Working on AI/Machine Learning projects to improve the performance of the AES Clean Energy fleet of solar, wind, and energy storage assets The Analytics Engineer supports a larger O&M team and serves as the subject matter expert for data-related aspects of operating and monitoring clean energy plants. This requires knowledge and experience working with SCADA/DAS systems, data warehouses, reporting tools, and other advanced analytics tools (i.e. Power, BI, Python, and R). Excellent communication, task management and planning skills needed, in addition to technical breadth. The position may include up to 5-10% travel to partner offices and project locations.Key Responsibilities Operations 
 Establish and maintain data warehouses to support the O&M team's advanced analytics and reporting needsBecome liaison between Digital and Performance/Reliability Engineering teams, with goal of building scalable analytics solutions to look at project and equipment performanceBuild scalable, automated reporting solutions to meet the growing compliance demands of the CE Asset Management groupSupport the performance data needs of the O&M engineering group by delivering curated KPIs, automated lost energy reconciliation, and performance summary reportsDevelop dashboards to elegantly display portfolio performance metrics and identify underperformance trends and outliersParticipate in and lead AI/Machine Learning initiatives in collaboration with the AES Digital Team and O&M team stakeholders Collaboration 
 Collaborate with the Performance Engineering team to expand the consumption of useful performance analyses by utilizing dashboarding/BI toolsTogether with the CE Operations Technology and Digital teams, work to deliver successful data pipelines from DAS providers to data warehousesProvide technical support and maintenance of automated reporting systems utilized by the CE Asset Management groupAs a subject matter expert, advise other teammembers across the organization on best practices for data-related projects Growth and Leadership
