Description
The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking an Executive Director, AONL Foundation. This position is a 100% outbased.. Starting base salary = $151,000- $189,000- $227,000 (commensurate with related experience). The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The Executive Director, AONL Foundation is responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing operations and programs, and driving fundraising initiatives for the Foundation-a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit supporting organization of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) focused on supporting nursing leadership research and education. Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador, and represent the Foundation within the nursing leadership, health care, and philanthropic communities through events, publications, and strategic partnerships. In close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders-including the AONL Foundation Board, AONL and AHA leadership and staff, volunteers, external partners, and donors, lead a small team to advance the Foundation's mission and build on the Foundation's past fundraising and programmatic successes. Bachelor's Degree in related field of PUBLIC HEALTH-HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (required)
Experience
10 years: *Leadership experience in nonprofit or foundation management, with strong background in fundraising, donor engagement and strategic planning.
