 We are seeking a Sample and Conditioning Operator to work in our Bakers facility in Monroe NC. In this position you are responsible for sampling and conditioning titanium material (ingots) to meet customer expectations by using a variety of machinery. A successful candidate will demonstrate an attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently. Additional Responsibilities: 
 
 
 Read and interpret work orders from shipping and melt departmentOperate swing grinders, hand grinders, gas cutting torch, manual bander, and various fork trucksUse drill press to sample titanium allowsDetect and report any defective materials or improper operationsTransfer ingots onto roller to begin the chamfering process to bevel the edge of the pieceVisually inspect the finished material before sending the next departmentStamping materials with proper labelsMaintain logs and recordsFollow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations
 
 
 Basic Qualifications 
 
 
 
 High School Diploma / GED
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications 
 
 
 
 One (1) year of manufacturing experience is preferred
