What you will do

The Field Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to install utilization sensors for clients across North America. They'll assist with system commissioning, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and provide remote support to clients as needed.

This role reports to the Field Operations Manager within the Professional Services organization and is accountable for the accurate installation and testing of systems, ensuring reliable performance and strong client satisfaction. Because the work spans sites across North America, the technician can be based anywhere and will travel to project locations as needed-offering variety, flexibility and hands-on experience in the field.

How you will do it

  • Complete sensor installs and systems testing in client buildings across North America

  • Create Excel tables with sensor information

  • Assess plans to get the number of sensors and hosts required.

  • Install sensors and hosts under the guidance of the Senior Field Service Technician.

  • Fully test the system before signing off an installation

  • Document all installations and maintenance work for future reference

  • Prioritize knowledge expansion and skills required for advancement

What we look for

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems and computer hardware

  • Strong time management and organization skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues

  • Physical capability of bending and crawling under desks for prolonged periods of time.

  • Ability to lift and climb ladders

Ability to travel up to 75% to customer locations on a regular basis - Travel can be all over North America

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.96 - $32.69 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
