The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be the expert voice, responsible for educating both our internal teams and external customers on the use of our complex, multi-product solutions. You will design, develop, and deliver high-impact training programs that enhance product knowledge, technical skills, and overall performance.   • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective technical training courses for customers and employees. Lead classroom-style lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions, and continued education workshops, both virtually and in-person at corporate and field locations.

  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, implement, and continuously maintain a comprehensive suite of training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.

  • Program Management: Develop and manage training curricula for our field-based organization, covering areas such as advanced product/technical knowledge, selling skills, account management, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Needs Analysis & Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify training needs and knowledge gaps. Make data-driven recommendations to management to improve our training programs, service levels, and overall customer responsiveness.

  • Logistics & Organization: Organize and coordinate all aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication, ensuring a seamless learning experience.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Communications) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) in a technical training, instructional design, or a similar role.

  • Demonstrated ability to master complex technical products and convey that knowledge clearly and concisely to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

  • Experience with the full training lifecycle: needs assessment, curriculum development, delivery, and evaluation.

  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel to client sites and internationally as needed.

  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training development software is a plus.

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Indiana, is $79,900 - $148,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
