Desktop Support Technician - Level 1 Overview: We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide Level 1 technical assistance in a Windows-based enterprise environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for delivering exceptional end-user support. Key Responsibilities: * Respond to and resolve technical support requests via ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate documentation. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and application issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals in a Windows 10/11 environment. * Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and assist with account management in Active Directory. * Perform basic system maintenance, password resets, and user profile configurations. * Deliver excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in clear, user-friendly language. * Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and maintain service level agreements. Required Skills & Qualifications: * 2-3 years of helpdesk or desktop support experience in a professional setting. * Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. * Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms. * Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a pleasant, professional demeanor and strong written/verbal communication. Preferred Attributes: * Highly organized with strong follow-up skills. * Ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure. * Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
