Job Title: Surgery Coding Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Surgery Coding Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day coding operations. This role involves supervising and monitoring surgery coders, managing productivity and quality, and serving as the primary escalation point between the doctors. You will also be responsible for reviewing and coding complex operative procedures for surgical practices. Responsibilities * Supervise and monitor surgery coders to ensure operational efficiency. * Oversee productivity and quality standards, addressing any lags. * Act as the primary escalation point between surgical teams and physicians. * Review and code complex operative procedures for surgical practices. Essential Skills * Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required. * At least 5 years of general surgery coding experience. * Strong supervisory and leadership skills. * Proficiency in handling escalations. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Additional certifications are a plus. * Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving. * Excellent team collaboration skills. * Ability to ask questions and seek clarity when needed. Work Environment This position is fully remote, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM CST, with flexible start times at 7, 8, or 9 AM. The role is available to candidates residing in TX, OK, AL, MO, GA, and FL. Please note that there is no time off allowed during the first 90 days of employment, as well as blackout days at the end and beginning of each month. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.50 - $35.50/hr.
