The Power Platform team empowers millions of makers to build apps, automate workflows, and create engaging experiences for different form factors. As part of Power Platform team, you'll collaborate across products and geographies to deliver secure, scalable, and intelligent solutions that transform how businesses operate. As a Principal Architect, you will define and influence the technical direction of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages. Full stack, designing and implementing solutions that span client, service, and data layers. You'll drive proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluate proven and emerging technologies, and think end-to-end across Power Platform products to deliver cohesive, integrated experiences. This role requires you to be onsite 3 days a week in Microsoft's offices in Redmond, WA. Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. ResponsibilitiesPartners with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of scenarios.Leads identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.Leads by example and mentors others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products.Leverages subject-matter expertise of cross-product features with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items.Holds accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products/solutions, working on-call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale and shares knowledge with other engineers.Engage with strategic customers to understand needs, guide solution design, and ensure successful adoption.Collaborating with a geographically diverese team across the globe.
