Description

Scope of Work:

Supervise, answer, and schedule service calls for 10-15 (min) Field Service technicians.

Verify customer has account or obtain credit and/or credit card information (from time to time). Quote estimates for service repairs. Open and close work orders. Review time card entries to work orders.

Primary Job Responsibilities:



  • Answer customer requests for Field Service repairs and schedule a min. of 10-15 Field Service technicians.
  • Follow-up with customers and technicians to make sure WPI is providing a superior service.
  • Review oil sample history and technical information for repairs.
  • Take calls for service from internal and external customers.
  • Direct service technicians daily work.
  • Review open jobs to assess scheduling and completion.
  • Assist Billing Clerk with closing and billing jobs.
  • Oversee securing and delivering parts for Field Service department.
  • Promote good welfare among the company and its' divisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must have a minimum of 4 year(s) previous experience.
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Prefer bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking and writing skills.



Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)



  • Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives.
  • Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
  • Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
  • Must have current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standards. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)
  • Must be able to pass and maintain alcohol and drug testing requirements as required by the Department of Transportation. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)
  • Must be able bend and twist several times a day.
  • Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred. (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently.
  • Must maintain good client relations.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, and weekends (as necessary).
  • Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others.
  • Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others.
  • Must protect the company assets and interest.



Working Conditions:



  • Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Office indoor and outdoor work.
