Job Description




As a Security Officer - Screener Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a SCREENER within a leading technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure atmosphere for everyone on-site. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities in accordance with Allied Universal standards. What You'll Do:

  • Deliver excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a technology and telecommunications environment.
  • Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following company and site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors regarding site protocols and procedures.
  • Report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as directed.
  • Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management during peak times or special events as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
