Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the hiring needs for US Business and Legal Staff. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for executing the full life cycle talent acquisition strategy across multiple locations and client groups to support the talent needs of our firm in an environment where superior client service is emphasized and practiced.

This position can be located in our Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or Houston, TX, offices. A hybrid work opportunity is available for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and recommend targeted long-term and short-term recruitment strategies through the analysis of market data and hiring trends.
  • Create and post job openings and proactively source candidates via multiple resources.
  • Effectively identify, screen, and secure superior quality talent for business and legal staff positions.
  • Develop and cultivate a robust, diverse, and constantly evolving candidate pipeline.
  • Research new and innovative resources to enhance both active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Act as advisor to Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers regarding hiring recommendations.
  • Draft and deliver offers of employment, including salary negotiations, as needed.
  • Partner with multiple Human Resources stakeholders and service providers to ensure the successful and seamless onboarding of new employees, including oversight of background check and reference check processes.
  • Ensure data integrity that allows for the successful generation and accuracy of recruiting metrics and hiring data.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of client-centric, full life cycle Talent Acquisition experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in all facets of talent acquisition, including, but not limited to recruiting plans, sourcing passive and active candidates, qualification methods, networking, screening/interviewing, legal issues, offer negotiations, administrative responsibilities, and managing the candidate/hiring manager relationship.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, particularly Workday, is a plus.
  • Proven success recruiting at multiple levels in a mid-to-large size law firm or professional services organization strongly preferred.
  • Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a must.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including firm management.
  • Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

For positions in Chicago, IL, the salary range for this job posting is:

$80,500 - $128,800 annually.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the

interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited

to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.

The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on

other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages

may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation

package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or

other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such

as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee

receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will

position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other

discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including

for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team
