DSD Dispatcher (Pending Kickoff)

What does a Dispatcher do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Dispatchers plan product for delivery, ensuring that maximum efficiency/lowest possible cost delivery methods are applied to all Direct Store Delivery, Full Service Vending, Bottle-Can equipment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the lowest cost product and equipment delivery solutions to sales centers or customers by utilizing the Planning and Load Creation Software with the sales or customer care orders.
• Communicate daily, via reports, in person meetings or phone calls, to sales center management on labor and equipment needs based on volume, workload, time, cubes, weight, etc. for delivery
• Partner with support departments and sales center management teams to continuously update the database of information that drives planning solutions in the planning software.
• Plan actual product sold based on actual sales or service visits for appropriate delivery day.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent certificate required
• supply chain/logistical experience with strong customer service skills required
• Past experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP of similar software
• Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to work more than 8 hours in a day as directed by the business
