 | Position Summary
 
 As TCW's Head of Benefits, you'll lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of our employee benefit and wellness programs across the U.S. and international offices. This role blends hands-on program management with strategic influence to ensure our benefits remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with TCW's culture of care and performance.  You'll serve as the firm's subject matter expert and leader on all things benefits, partnering closely with HR colleagues, external advisors and partners, and leaders across the firm to deliver an exceptional employee experience while managing firm costs and resources.Essential Duties
 
 
     Lead global benefits administration: Oversee all health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and perk programs across TCW's offices Drive the annual renewal cycle: Partner with brokers and vendors to evaluate plans, benchmark competitiveness, and provide data-driven recommendationsOwn open enrollment: Manage communications, education sessions, and the employee benefits fair to ensure a seamless experienceEnhance international programs: Collaborate with local experts to design regionally compliant and market-appropriate benefits outside the U.S.Lead and develop a benefits team member: Provide direction, coaching, and growth opportunities to ensure high-quality execution and continuous improvementChampion wellness: Develop and launch initiatives that support employee wellbeing and engagementManage leaves of absence: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements (COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, PDL, etc.)Maintain compliance & governance: Oversee plan documents, testing, filings, and audits in partnership with legal and broker teamsElevate communication: Deliver clear, timely, and engaging benefit materials to employeesOversee systems & data accuracy: Support benefit system administration, testing, and enhancementsProvide exceptional employee support: Resolve benefit inquiries efficiently and with carePartner across HR: Collaborate on firmwide HR initiatives, projects, and community engagement programsRequired Qualifications
 
 
     Bachelor's degree and mimimum of 10 years of HR experience, with deep expertise managing benefits in a corporate or financial services environmentAdvanced knowledge of benefit laws, compliance, and leave administrationStrong analytical and communication skills with a consultative, service-oriented approachProven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and multiple priorities with precision and professionalismCollaborative mindset and commitment to confidentiality and high ethical standardsProficiency in MS Office and HR systems; Excel skills requiredProfessional Skills Qualifications
 
 
     Strong verbal and written communication skills; good presentation skills.Excellent organizational, project management, prioritization, and time management skills.Exercises good judgment, maintains strict confidentiality, and adheres to high standard of professional conduct.Self-motivated; works well independently and in a team environment.Strives to continuously improve processes and research and implement best practices.Thorough with high level of accuracy.Desired Qualifications
 
 
     Bonus: International benefits experience and/or CBP, CEBS, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification This role requires candidates to work from a TCW office a minimum of four days a week. Flexibility for remote work is offered on one day, depending on business needs. Estimated Compensation: Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $175K-$200K. This is an anticipated range for the base salary only. Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
