| Position Summary |
Provide assistance to the Barn Manager with the care and management of the
UGA Equestrian Team equine athletes. Job duties include but are not limited to health and maintenance of equines (E.g. daily equine care, veterinary care, and therapeutic management), inventory and organization of equine supplies, oversight and development of part time/student employees, assist with Equestrian competitions, and help maintain premier
NCAA equine program. Coordinate with the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine as well as other veterinary practices to provide equine health care. May represent the equestrian barn in meetings and assume duties as directed in the absence of the farm or barn manager. |
