Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years in Human Resources/Employee relations required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

    • Ability to travel out of state including overnight.




The ideal candidate will possess:



  • Masters in Human Resources or Business.
  • SHRM/HRCI certificate.
  • A working knowledge of employment law at the federal level, with the ability to interpret updates and changes at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to address difficult subjects and have hard conversations.

This is a Remote position available to candidates residing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.


Salary range: $70,000-$84,000 depending on experience.



Position details:


The People Operations Partner - Strategic Partner will work collaboratively with operations to ensure strong communication with staff, facilitating manager/employee relationships, and ensuring that appropriate resolutions are being recommended regarding corrective actions, investigations, and HR policies. This role will also provide consultative advice and education for reducing the risk of legal pitfalls, while promoting a positive work environment.


Other duties include:




  • Facilitate timely resolution of employee relations issues, including investigations, research, documentation, and communication of findings and next steps.



  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees by coaching, advising, and supporting them through complex people matters.



  • Conduct and coordinate investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and similar issues to ensure fair and effective outcomes.



  • Partner with operations to develop tools, resources, and strategies that enhance employee experience, retention, and legal compliance.



  • Maintain confidential employee relations files and track case activity in the HR Case Tracker.



  • Provide guidance and training to promote understanding and compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.



  • Support performance management processes, including improvement plans, corrective actions, terminations, and responses to EEOC or other third-party charges.



  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Labor Relations teams on accommodations, grievances, mediation, and the development or refinement of HR policies and practices.
