Burns is currently seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer I to join our Aviation team in Fort Lauderdale/Miami, FL. SUMMARY The Engineer I will be responsible for performing technical engineering tasks, technical studies and investigations, and designs on assigned projects. The Engineer I will be mentored by senior level engineering staff, will work with more autonomy, and will complete engineering tasks of moderate complexity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities. Under the oversight of the Project Manager, the Engineer I may provide direction to CAD Operators, CAD Technicians, Designers, Co-Ops, Interns, Engineering Design Associates, and Engineering Associates. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Professionally Licensed Engineer with a Bachelor's (B.S.) Electrical Engineering degree and at least 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Professional Engineering License is required at this level. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
