We are in search of a Talent Acquisition Advisor II to join our Human Resources department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the Director, Recruiting and partners with business leaders to source and hire qualified talent for career opportunities at AgWest Farm Credit, primarily focusing on customer relationship management, credit, insurance, information technology, project management and other infrastructure positions. This position manages the entire recruitment process for each assigned position and serves as a subject matter expert in recruiting talent and advising hiring teams through complex hiring scenarios.

After an initial in-office training period, this position is eligible for workplace flexibility and a one-time home office stipend. Employees are expected to continue working from their office location a minimum of 50% or 60% of the time depending on location.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington is:

Level II:
Typical starting range: $72,000 - $89,000
Full base salary range: $64,600 - $110,800
Annual performance-based incentive target is 10% of base.

Job Requirements



  • Consult with hiring managers to understand their business and staffing needs.
  • Determine and execute effective and creative strategies to source, screen, recruit and present qualified, diverse talent.
  • Screen potential candidates and manage the interview and offer process for all assigned positions; create an outstanding candidate and hiring team experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews ensuring availability alignment between candidates, hiring managers and interview panel members across multiple time zones.
  • Effectively utilize Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and other recruiting-related software to facilitate candidates throughout the application and selection process.
  • Extend and effectively negotiate candidate offers, following established protocols and drawing from a comprehensive understanding of AgWest's benefits and employment practices.
  • Create, review and send documentation including offer packages and onboarding information to appropriate team members.
  • Proactively communicate updates to candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders through phone calls, video calls, emails and text messages, with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaborate with HR team SMEs in the course of business, including but not limited to administrative processes, compensation offers, and relevant compliance.
  • Participate on various projects as assigned.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements



  • Generally, requires 3-5 years' progressively responsible and complex talent acquisition experience in either corporate or staffing agency environments, focusing on quality over quantity.
  • Experience in talent acquisition procedures and best practices, including research, sourcing, networking, candidate management, interviewing, negotiation and closing.
  • Experience with managing complex interview scheduling by coordinating across multiple time zones and calendars for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Experience with assessing and consulting with hiring teams, applying influence and persuasion when appropriate.
  • Ability to use e-sign software including DocuSign and AdobeSign.
  • Experience with quickly developing rapport, credibility, and trust with stakeholders, hiring managers, candidates, and teammates.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Ability to create written communications that are concise and appropriate to context.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to branch locations located in the western United States.


Preferred Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Talent acquisition experience in a lending, agriculture or professional services organization.
  • Ability to navigate and effectively utilize recruiting software, ideally Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System.
