What You'll Do:

• Operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents within the retail or mall location.
• Receive and prioritize calls for service, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems as required by the site-specific policies.
• Relay important information and instructions to Allied Universal team members and/or emergency responders during incidents and critical situations.
• Document all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities accurately in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and responding to requests for assistance.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while handling stressful or emergency situations.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal leadership and client management to report security-related concerns and/or unusual activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and the public by addressing inquiries and directing individuals as needed within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
