| CNC Manufacturing Supervisors are responsible for overseeing production in one or more assigned departments. Supervisors are responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of manufacturing employees and for compliance and enforcement of safety & environmental programs and other Company policies and procedures. Supervisors are responsible for the selection and performance management of assigned staff, and to ensure the manufacturing process operates smoothly and efficiently to meet quality and scheduling requirements. Supervisors train new employees and may perform direct labor associated with positions in the assigned department(s). Essential Functions

 Required Education and Work Experience 
 
 
 A high school diploma or GED equivalent is requiredVocational training in a manufacturing/technical field or a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or other related field of study is advantageousMinimum of three (3) years experience in aerospace manufacturing to include direct labor work similar to that completed by the assigned department(s)Industry and technical knowledge representative of the work performed by assigned department(s) is requiredComprehension of the AS9100 Quality System is requiredSupervisory experience is required; "lead" experience and advanced supervisory training may be considered in lieu of direct supervision experience
 
 Other Required Skills and Abilities 
  
 Knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement programs is preferredProfessional verbal and written communication skills (English)Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word ERP experience is required; Infor Visual experience is preferredDemonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities to handle unexpected challenges appropriatelyCommitment to maintaining confidentiality, securing employee and company records, and demonstrating integrity in communications and actionsSelf-management skills including efficiency, sense of urgency, ability to adapt and respond to unexpected circumstances, and ability to juggle multiple projects, competing priorities, and meet concurrent deadlinesA valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record (MVR) is required
