Job Description

Reporting to the NA OEM Director the OEM Segment Manager-Manufacturing & Assembly will work in close association with the Field Sales Teams assisting them in selling Rockwell's products and services into Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and assure the continued growth rate of the OEM business in their segment. In this role, you will increase Rockwell's market share, analyzing the segment to identify trends and opportunities, supporting account planning, and influencing a group of associated Sales staff assigned within the Segment. The OEM Segment Manager will collaborate with Rockwell's Regional Sales Management to develop the best approach for building market share in the assigned segment within a matrix environment. Additionally, you will support the coordination of accounts that have a global presence and operations in multiple geographies. You will report to the Regional President, Americas and work a hybrid work schedule in Milwaukee, WI or Mayfield Heights, OH.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop a NA Segment specific Business Growth Plan to grow the Manufacturing & Assembly business in NA while ensuring alignment of strategies with the business units.
  • Ensure strategies are developed with Regional Sales that support the Strategic Growth Initiatives and New Product Introductions
  • Be an expert voice for the OEM segment within Rockwell Automation and as a Rockwell Automation voice within the associated trade organizations, shows, and media.
  • Provide direction and leadership to support the following activities: advertising, trade shows, key customer meetings, sales training conferences and distributor conferences within the Region.
  • Drive competency of the OEM Sales force around key Manufacturing & Assembly applications by developing Training, running Affinity Team Calls and developing Sales & Marketing Collateral for the sales teams to use in driving customer business outcomes and driving Rockwell Automation business.
  • Support Executive level customer meetings in person through sharing of industry and segment trends, total value proposition for the segment, and application knowledge.
  • Provide true Subject Matter Expertise within the Manufacturing & Assembly market and OEM Segment.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Valid Driver's License
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or marketing
  • Technical experience in the OEM machinery field
  • MBA or advanced degree in business management
  • Typically requires a minimum 12+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60% within your assigned territory.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of and significant relationships with leaders in the OEM Manufacturing & Assembly Industry.
  • Ability to forge relationships, build and inspire trust with C-level executives.
  • A history of managing effectively in a dynamic organization and driving business growth significantly above market growth rate.

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from 177,920.00 - 266,880.00 USD Annual of which 80% is base salary and 20% is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
