As a Security Professional - Government Facility Patrols in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for everyone present. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide clear communication and exceptional customer service to the public. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding area to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas on the premises.
• Document and communicate all security-related incidents and activities according to Allied Universal's procedures.
• Assist visitors and staff with general inquiries and provide guidance as needed in a courteous and professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
