Summary
 At Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, our CNAs play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver routine daily nursing care and support in accordance with each resident's care plan and Windemere's established procedures and standards. This position requires direct patient care and offers opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day. Essential Functions Provide daily personal care and assistance to assigned residents following individualized care plans. Accurately document all care activities and observations on required flow sheets, notes, and charts. Promptly report any changes in residents' conditions, accidents, or incidents to the nurse on duty. Maintain residents' comfort, dignity, and privacy in all care interactions. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Measure and record vital signs, intake, and output; report significant findings to nursing staff. Prepare residents and rooms for admissions, transfers, discharges, and meals. Support residents with feeding, hydration, and nutritional needs; document intake and report changes. Assist with positioning, turning, lifting, and transferring residents safely, using mechanical lifts when required. Observe and report any signs of skin breakdown or pressure areas; assist with preventative care routines. Provide catheter and perineal care, as well as range-of-motion exercises, as directed. Participate in shift-to-shift walking rounds and communicate effectively with team members. Maintain infection-control practices, including Universal Precautions and hand hygiene. Attend all required in-service education, orientation, and training programs. Uphold facility policies on safety, confidentiality, and resident rights, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OBRA regulations.
