General Purpose of the Job

The Manager of Strategic Initiatives will work across TMFB to lead strategic projects and innovation that amplify and enable transformational experiences that unlock purpose, connection, belonging and growth. This is a unique, high-visibility role designed to create capacity for leaders and focus on moving forward some of the most important work on our People Team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

In order of significance, list the essential functions and responsibilities of the position. Do not include duties that are performed infrequently or require minimal time. All other duties are accounted for in "Other Duties as Assigned" which must remain on all Job Descriptions.

  • Division Call Lead - including strategy/approach, coordination of calls, presenters, content, relationship management
  • Appreciation, Recognition, Celebration Strategy -leads the discovery, review, refresh recommendation and likely execution in partnership with Appreciation & Recognition team
  • Voice of the Teammate Project Manager - work closely with senior leadership on strategy, cross-collaborative discovery and work planning
  • New programming exploration and discovery work based on identified priorities
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Language Skills: Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

Work Environment: Level III - Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic). Visual: Vision adequate to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of position.

Physical Demands: Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However, in general, the position requires the following activities:

  • Ability to lift minimum of 5 lbs to a max of 50 lbs unassisted and able to stand, sit, stoop, walk, stretch, reach, and use full range of body motions.
  • Manual dexterity as required for specific equipment and ability to use computer keyboard and peripherals.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $100,000.00 - $147,000.00/year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
