WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Communications Strategy, Planning, and Messaging Development (50%)



  • Lead the development and execution of creative campaigns supporting key HR programs and initiatives.
  • Embed the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and organizational values in all messaging and initiatives.
  • Support the Total Rewards team, especially the "Be Well, Be You" campaign, to grow employee awareness and participation in key benefits for physical, emotional, financial, and social well-being.
  • Maintain the editorial calendar for HR communications, coordinate with Communications department, and manage content development, translation, approval, and publishing.
  • Develop communication assets and promotional materials which may include brochures, talking points, FAQs, guides, posters, presentations, etc.
  • Draft and review employee-facing HR communication materials, collaborating with technical experts for accuracy.
  • Design and execute campaigns to promote employee engagement, including recognition programs and town hall meetings.


Event Management (20%)



  • Manage key employee and department events, including Service Awards, TEC Awards, and other events as defined by the Director, Internal Communications.


HR Intranet and Portals (15%)



  • Manage content for the HR Portal and Total Rewards Statement Portal.
  • Oversee project management for Total Rewards statement updates and ensure alignment with well-being and EVP strategies.
  • Support and enhance the HR Gateway portal, providing materials for HR Community and Total Rewards Office Hour meetings.
  • Offer portal content consultation and support for other HR functions as needed.


Analytics, Reporting, and Best Practices (10%)



  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in HR and communications.
  • Develop dashboards to measure the performance of HR communications and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives based on analytics and survey data.
  • Lend communications expertise to the development of well-being dashboards.


Crisis Communications, M&A, and Other Duties (5%)



  • Support crisis communications, M&A activities, and any other projects assigned by the Director, Internal Communications

Required Qualifications



  • BA in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or Human Resources or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing Communications experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Canva, Poppulo, LifeRay, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Teams Live Event, and other relevant communication and graphic design software
  • Excellent written and oral communications, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to direct multiple priorities and lead meetings with key stakeholders
  • Ability to write procedural documents and design workflows
  • Manage numerous tasks simultaneously and complete projects in an accurate and timely manner with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications



  • 3-5 years of HR Communications experience
  • Internal Communications Certification
  • HR Communications Certification
  • Project Management Certification
  • Change Management Certification
