Job Overview

Senior Compensation Analyst conducts research and analysis into complex issues to identify internal and external trends and develop recommendations for compensation programs and client solutions to support the organization's compensation philosophy. This role may also lead work efforts on compensation processes and special projects.

Shift: Days. Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts. Hybrid (on-site and remote)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collects, analyzes and interprets data from market surveys, internal HR analytics and records, and other sources to understand compensation trends and identify best practices.
  • Completes job studies which can vary in size and complexity, creating and/revising job descriptions, determining pay range recommendations, presenting recommendations to senior leadership for approval, and supporting implementation of compensation changes within the HRIM.
  • Leads annual market, incentive and/or merit administration processes, overseeing the build and maintenance of analyses, data sets and recommendations that may be complex and extremely detailed and ensuring activities are completed by prescribed timelines and internal procedures.
  • Serves as lead on complex special projects, developing forecasts, models and trend analyses or developing compensation program or strategies recommendations for review and approval by senior leadership.
  • Serves as internal consultant to HR business partners and managers, providing guidance on potentially complex, unusual, or urgent compensation situations and interpreting and explaining compensation policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Works with technical partners implement compensation changes into HRIM system. Participates in projects to make enhancements to system functionality, which may include troubleshooting system related problems.
  • Creates and delivers training and communications materials designed to educate employees, managers and HR staff on compensation strategies and programs.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding compensation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degrees
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications or other related field.

  • Experience
    • Four (4) years of experience in maintaining and supporting compensation programs required
    • Strong Excel Skills to include; Basic Formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MIN, MAX), Data Entry and Formatting of large datasets, Sorting and Filtering, Lookup Functions (VLOOK UP, INDEX and MATCH),Pivot Tables.
  • Equivalency
    • Four years experience above stated requirements may substitute for bachelor's degree.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $94,871.97 to $142,307.96
