We're seeking a visionary Sr. Director of Engineering IT to lead strategy and operations for our global engineering environment.

What You Can Expect

  • Set strategy & roadmap:Define and execute Engineering IT for EDA/HPC, hybrid/multi-cloud, developer platforms, and GenAI, aligned to business roadmaps.

  • Run at scale:Deliver a world-class hybrid cloud (COLO + Public) environment for performance, resiliency, security, cost, and end-to-end DevEx.

  • Modernize the stack:Advance CI/CD, SDLC tooling, reliability, and DevSecOps/automation.

  • Lead transformations:Drive EDA-at-scale, multi-cloud adoption, and AI/GenAI workflowsto boost agility and innovation.

  • Continuous improvement:Establish SLOs/SLAs, post-incident reviews, observability, and automation to raise service quality quarter over quarter.

  • Partner with engineering:Align capacity, performance, and compliance to program needs (toolchains/flows) for mission-critical tape-outs.

  • Build the team:Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing, collaborative organization.

  • Secure by design:Embed SecOps, identity, data protection, and change/risk controlswithout slowing developers.

  • Own financials & vendors:Manage OpEx/CapEx, FinOps, and vendor contracts to optimize TCO and mitigate risk.

  • Govern & report:Run portfolio/demand planning and exec dashboards; report health, risks, ROI, and drive decisions.

  • Standardize & reuse:Promote platform and process standardization to reduce complexity and accelerate time-to-value.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in engineering infrastructure operations with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven expertise in engineering infrastructure and applications including HPC and Cloud services
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive innovation, digital transformation and lead geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management and budgeting skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL frameworks.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

168,920 - 253,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
