Position Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for sales and achieving revenue targets across surgical specialties (Laparoscopy, Arthroscopy, CV/Thoracoscopy) in the Montreal area. This will also oversee the Urology/Gynecology, Airway and Head & Neck specialties.

Hired candidate is required to live in the greater Montreal area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive territory growth and achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets as outlined in the annual commissions program.
  • Continue to increase market share and achieve sales targets for each specialty, gaining greater depth of our portfolio.
  • Develop new solutions selling competencies and build a sustainable market leadership position in each specialty including our service business.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to Sales Management - assessing performance and successes in the week/month, current progress with objectives, highlighting key activities, along with any known or foreseen problems.
  • Drive innovative strategies involving managers, marketing and customers in the design of new solutions and offerings.
  • Develop strong ties with key customers and key accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market.
  • Develop key strategies for winning proposals on value, while maintaining or increasing gross margins and collaborate proposals with management for final decision.
  • Liaise with customer support staff and training division to ensure that customers receive all necessary back up and support.
  • Drive employee engagement and provide coaching and mentorship to all team members to ensure key performance and business objectives are achieved while developing the skills and talents of the team.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the management or company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed University degree or equivalent experience in sales or marketing.
  • 5+ years of direct medical device sales experience required - Experience in endoscopy, imaging & technology is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Medical Device/Healthcare sector.
  • Ability to travel within territory and Internationally as required.

Compnesation noted in Canadian dollars.
