Because while we may not be at a patient's bedside, their health is still in our hands. Spacelabs Healthcare is seeking an Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) to join their team. The EIM position provides implementation services for the customer installation of the Spacelabs product. This position serves as a technical liaison with customers. The hired candidate will work from his/her home office. The EIM will develop expert-level knowledge of Spacelabs IT products in multiple deployment scenarios. The EIM has broad responsibility over customer deployments, including (but not limited to) project calls with customers, IT sales support, proprietary application consultation, remote software application installation, HL7 interface configurations, and troubleshooting. Key success indicators are the generation of revenue through superior IT service and the enhancement of the perception of Spacelabs Healthcare, particularly with the hospital's IT department. This is a US-based remote position with approximately 10% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Remotely install Windows-based applications onto hospital-owned infrastructure. This includes new installations, adding on modules, and software upgrades.
- Provide consultation to customers for Spacelabs IT products. Effectively communicate client installation requirements. Assist customers with installation in various deployment scenarios using various technologies, including Citrix, Terminal Services, System Management Server, System Center Configuration Manager, etc. Advise customers on hardware specifications required for the successful deployment of Spacelabs products.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of applicable Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) interface technologies. Examples include HL7, JSON, Mirth, Connexall, Vocera, AirStrip, print servers, etc.
- Provide administrative training to customers and internal groups.
- Provide technical troubleshooting expertise to the customers. Provide top-tier troubleshooting support for software products.
- Work closely with the Sales staff to set proper expectations for the installations and upgrades.
- Comply with customer requirements for outage windows and downtime. On occasion, flexible hours are expected in order to accommodate customer installations nationwide.
- Educate customer IT staff regarding proper requirements and implementation of the Spacelabs products. Occasional training of customer staff and subcontractors may be required.
- Effectively articulate to our customers' requirements for a safe, reliable, and secure deployment of Spacelabs products.
- Ensure good stewardship of company resources.
- Document configuration changes and project work in near real time. Maintain pristine customer configuration records.

Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and training.
- 5+ years of technical experience with the following:
- LAN concepts and technology, including L2/L3 Switches and VLANs
- WAN routing concepts
- Network management concepts and associated technologies
- Interfacing with HL7
- Deployment of software applications using Windows Server and MS SQL Server
- Simple SQL queries and concepts
- Light Scripting knowledge (such as PowerShell or JavaScript)
- Deployment of software applications in a virtualization environment
- Experience with Multicast network technology is a plus.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux is a plus.
- Significant skill in application problem resolution with notable success in troubleshooting software applications in a time-sensitive manner. Must understand how to troubleshoot software effectively in a production environment while minimizing the impact on users.
- Must have a good understanding of cybersecurity principles in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented.
- Must have excellent verbal, written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. This is a customer-facing role.
- Must have highly developed team effectiveness skills. Must have a track record of working positively and productively in a team environment. Must be highly collaborative.
- Must be able to work in a time-critical environment and be decisive when faced with complex problems.
OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Must maintain residency within the United States.
- Must successfully complete onsite Spacelabs training (including training at Spacelabs locations).
- Must maintain IT certifications, as appropriate.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and technical training, as required (< 10% anticipated).
- Occasionally work various shifts, as deemed necessary to support customer requirements for installation, training, and troubleshooting.
- May be required to register with a vendor credentialing service. As part of this process, may be required to submit personal information to a credentialing service company, to provide proof of vaccinations or related medical information, and to comply with other requirements needed to be able to work at customer healthcare facilities.
