As a Security Guard - Armed Retail Center - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. In this armed and driving post, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while assisting visitors and associates. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support security-related needs.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key access points within the retail environment, addressing any suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of security-related incidents, patrol activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with store personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or provide assistance during emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to use authorized security equipment and/or weapons in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
• Promote a welcoming and orderly atmosphere for customers, staff, and visitors while supporting the overall mission of Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least three years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
