Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant.
Location: Houston, TX.
Description:


  • Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP FICO modules, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
  • Handle key areas including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
  • Manage integration points with MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.
  • Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with technical (ABAP) teams for custom developments.
  • Configure and optimize financial closing, tax setup, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, and internal orders.
  • Provide expert support during month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for business users.
  • Participate in S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects, including testing and validation of finance data models.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and system documentation standards.
  • Provide thought leadership in process improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.




Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills


  • SAP FICO certification (SAP Certified Application Associate).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and SAP Activate methodology.
  • Exposure to Central Finance (CFIN) or Group Reporting in S/4HANA.
  • Experience in data migration, interfaces, and reporting tools (Fiori, SAC, etc.).
  • Background in working with global clients and multi-country rollouts.
