The Position

Role Summary The Head of Data Adoption & Culture is a pivotal global role responsible for driving a cultural shift toward a data-driven mindset throughout the organization. This leader will translate the data frameworks defined by the Data Strategy and Governance team into tangible, company-wide practices. Serving as a data evangelist and ambassador, the role is accountable for accelerating the understanding and adoption of core data concepts, such as data mesh and data products, and ensuring responsible data consumption and availability across all functions in close partnership with the data domains. This leader has strong influencing and partnering skills to drive adoption in a federated organization through functional aligned data domain teams. Data domains are responsible for the data and data culture in the various domains while leadership and orchestration across the domains for adoption and culture is provided by this role. This leader and their team will help flatten the learning curve for complex data topics, acting as key translators to make information accessible and digestible for stakeholders at every level, from senior leadership to technical contributors. The role requires a strong focus on organizational change management and a "train the trainer" approach, empowering data champions across the business to multiply the team's impact and foster a sustainable data-driven culture. This position reports directly to the Chief Data Officer. A strong value framework and measurement is required to demonstrate adoption and value generation through the data strategy as it is matured across the organization. Key Accountabilities:

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is between $199,600 and $370,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
