The People Team at UnitedHealth Group is responsible for helping shape and execute human capital and talent strategies across the organization including culture building, workforce strategy, organization effectiveness, talent development, leadership bench strength, and employee experience.

**You will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week in Minnesota office**

Primary Responsibilities:

As a People Team intern, you will participate in projects and gain experience across multiple areas within the People Team community including:

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university
  • Active enrollment in a bachelor's degree program throughout the duration of the internship (at least though August 2026)
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, psychology or another related field
  • Internship or participation in human resources related academic groups
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a changing environment
  • Proven willing to collaborate with other team members
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
