Job Overview

The Manager Radiology provides leadership to designated modalities within the Department of Radiology, while overseeing the day-to-day business and clinical operations, including ongoing clinical competence and staff development. This is a system level position for diagnostic only.

Additional Information
Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30-5pm. Weekends and holidays will be required as part of a leadership call rotation.

This role will require weekly travel to all our System of Care locations, this includes Colorado Springs and the Denver metro.

Eligible Incentives: Relocation assistance available for qualified external applicants.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership for medical imaging for assigned modality(s).
  • Continuously assesses and improves the department's performance by establishing, maintaining, and reporting meaningful key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrates strong fiscal stewardship and accountability, ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet operational and patient care needs.
  • Leads communication strategies that reinforce a culture of safety, transparency, and accountability.
  • Shapes messaging/communication to support initiatives, change management, and organizational priorities.
  • Assigns and reviews work, provides work instruction (OTJ or formal training) and develops team members. Evaluates performance of team members with a focus on quality, continuous growth and professional development, providing continuous feedback. Manages discipline and performance issues, hires and fires team members. Identifies resource needs and develops recommendations for meeting needs.
  • Establishes patient/family experience standards and manages escalations related to operational and patient/family service concerns.
  • Acts as key point of contact for student programs by supporting educational opportunities and maintaining relationships with the affiliated health care schools.
  • Serves as a resource for programmatic and process optimization to align with recognized standards and operations.
  • Ensures compliance against federal, state, and local regulations for assigned modality(s).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and completion of an accredited Imaging program.

  • Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible clinical imaging experience

  • Equivalency: Four (4) years of experience, beyond stated requirements, may substitute for the Bachelor's degree

  • Certification(s): BLS/CPR and ARRT Registered, ARDMS, ARMRIT or NMTCB Certificate.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $105,046.99 to $157,570.49
