Job Summary:
- We are seeking a mission-driven and organized Project Manager to support the oversight and implementation of a groundbreaking public health model designed to improve access to treatment for individuals living with rare hematologic conditions. Working closely with the Project Director, the Project Manager will coordinate initiatives, track milestones, foster and maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure the project progresses on schedule and within scope.
- This is a part-time position ideal for a clinical or public health professional with a strong background in project coordination and a passion for improving health outcomes in rare diseases.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Director in overseeing all aspects of the access model's implementation and execution.
- Coordinate project meetings, maintain timelines, and manage key deliverables.
- Facilitate partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and communication across project teams.
- Monitor day-to-day project operations, track tasks and deliverables, and ensure objectives are met efficiently.
- Assist in evaluating program outcomes, identifying success measures, and assessing progress against benchmarks.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Project Director.
- Maintain project documentation, organize data, and assist in preparing materials for presentations or reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education, such as may have been gained through possession of:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or,
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or,
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) and,
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as public health, healthcare administration, or a related field, with 2+ years of public health project management experience or healthcare quality.
- Demonstrated experience in public health, clinical project management, or healthcare administration.
- Strong understanding of healthcare access issues, including rare hematologic conditions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project tracking platforms).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Medicaid or public health programs.
- Knowledge of advanced therapeutic access programs.
- Experience in healthcare quality improvement and outcomes measurement
- Experience supporting grant-funded projects or initiatives.
