TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking for a Electrical Design Engineer. What you will do: * Design electrical systems for data centers. * Work with other teams to create construction documents. * Make sure designs meet quality and budget requirements. * Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. * Review and approve equipment details. * Define project scope and answer technical questions during construction. * Test and validate electrical systems with commissioning teams. * Handle multiple projects in different regions. * Travel to sites for reviews, audits, and system startups. * Find creative solutions to improve designs and reduce costs. Basic requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 12+ years of experience. * 7+ years in industrial or commercial electrical design. * 9+ years creating design plans and documents. Preferred skills: * Professional Engineering license. * Knowledge of building codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA). * Ability to research new technologies and methods. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Experience with power systems like UPS, generators, and switchgear. * Worked in fast-track projects and large-scale operations.
