In this position, you will look for opportunities for savings in the area of state and local taxes (SALT). Our SALT team has extensive training in tax accounting, tax law, compliance, audits, and economic development benefits, and experience with tax laws in many states. Our SALT solutions apply to sales and use taxes, income, and franchise taxes, property taxes, credits and incentives, and many more thorough understandings of multi-state sales & use taxes. What You Will Do: Identifying optimal filing options Analyzing and reviewing apportionment information Overseeing client engagements Planning and researching tax issues Preparing technical memorandums Providing audit assistance Assisting with state income tax compliance Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in accounting or a related field 4.5+ years of relevant experience Current CPA, J.D., or L.L.M designation Proficiency with OneSource income tax preparation software and OneSource tax provision software #LI-DFW #LI-SS1 About Forvis Mazars, LLP Forvis Mazars, LLP is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network.
