Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Lakeland, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
• Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, aka network connect (activation of data drops).
• Detailed knowledge of audio/videoconferencing standards.
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component-level knowledge, operating system (Windows, Unix/Linux, Apple), application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques, and physical capabilities to include lifting to 50 lbs.
• Assist in the relocation of client employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.).

• Hours: 4x10, 6 AM-4 PM

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IT Networking, Troubleshooting, and Conference room support Video Teleconferences (VTCs)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with network, regarding the installation and configuration of network devices

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
