Here's what you'd do:

• Initially, a support role for existing demand planners.
• Over time, may take on specific product planning responsibilities as they learn.
• Core tasks align with the job description:
  1. Develop and maintain production schedules.
  2. Plan materials and manage inventory.
  3. Utilize the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) system for forecasting and planning purposes.
  4. Prepare requisitions for materials/components.
  5. Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams.
• Team & Collaboration
• Works with:
  1. Two other demand planners.
  2. Finance team.
  3. Shipping/receiving and stockroom personnel.
  4. Production supervisors and associates.
• Communication and teamwork are critical.
• Develop & maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Plan materials to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
• Utilize the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) system to forecast demand, plan production, and manage inventory, with a solid understanding of production planning principles.
• Prepare requisitions to obtain necessary materials & components.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with the purchasing/procurement team to ensure supplier timeliness.
• Comply with all company regulations and safety standards, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Measurement Performance Indicators (MPIs)
• Support of Research and Development (R&D) new product releases from the Research and Development (R&D) phase through release to production

• Pay rate: $24.00/Hour
• Hours: 40 Hours/Week 1^st Shift
• Length: Contract (11 Months)

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
• Minimum of 2 years of Production scheduling experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing planning experience

• SAP experience (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used by the company).
• Inventory control background.
• Experience with other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Oracle)
• Knowledge of the bill of materials
• Product phase in/ phase out knowledge
• Microsoft Excel & Word proficiency (spreadsheets and documentation).
• Attention to detail and accuracy (especially with numbers and inventory control).
• Good communication skills (cross-functional collaboration).
